EGFC Season 3 Starts October 4th!

EGFC Season 3 is here! We are excited to announce that along with leagues for Rocket League, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and FIFA 21 we are introducing two new games. We're excited to add CS:GO and Chess to our growing list of supported titles!

CS:GO will be played weekly on Friday starting October 8th, 2021 with live streams being broadcast on twitch.tv/officialegf and twitch.tv/EGFcsgo at 4:30 PM ET. The inaugural season of CS:GO will feature 11 universities competing against each other in a Best of 2 format with a 5 player roster. 

Chess will be played using the Chess.com platform and streamed live on Monday nights starting October 4th, 2021 at 7:00 PM ET. Individual  players from all of our member universities will compete in monthly arena events to qualify for the National Championship in April!

Along with the addition of 2 new games we are also proud to welcome five new programs to EGFC. Iona College, Bowling Green State University, University of Montana, University of South Alabama, and Washington State University joining the roster makes this year the largest EGFC season yet with  nearly 100 teams from 35 colleges and universities competing across 6 titles!
